Justin Mundy 2.0

Well I did it. I finally installed WordPress and am using it as a content management system (CMS). I’m interested to see what features and plug-ins are available for WordPress, so I’ll be kicking it’s virtual tires over the next few days.

Apparently when installing WordPress as a “one click install” through MediaTemple’s control panel was slightly more destructive to my old site and file structure then I had thought. The install completely deleted all the files and installed the WordPress into the website root. I thought it would just install the new WordPress files into root and over-write the commonly named files like ‘index.php’.
